Week 3 Day 1
Today I decided to keep a blog about my progess on getting back into shape and well I guess to be my journal to help track my progress in life.
I have now been trying the P90x workout for about 9 weeks. About 2 weeks ago I decided to start over and actually track my progress because it is very discouraging working out and never knowing if you are actually making progress toward your goals. I have been taking pictures each Sunday night (I should do it in the morning) to help me visually see my body changing. I will post those pictures later when my belly has vanished. I will; however, post my measurements and changes from week to week.
Measurements as of yesterday:
| Start | After W1 | Weekly | After W2 | Weekly |
Body Fat % | 25.9 | 24.4 | 5.79% | 23 | 5.74% |
Weight | 196 | 193.2 | 1.43% | 191.8 | 0.72% |
Chest | 43.5 | 42.5 | 2.30% | 42.5 | 0.00% |
Waist | 39.5 | 38.9 | 1.52% | 39 | -0.26% |
Hips | 37 | 36.5 | 1.35% | 37 | -1.37% |
Right Thigh | 23 | 21.8 | 5.22% | 22.5 | -3.21% |
Left Thigh | 23 | 21.8 | 5.22% | 22.5 | -3.21% |
Right Arm | 15 | 14.2 | 5.33% | 14 | 1.41% |
Left Arm | 15 | 14.2 | 5.33% | 14 | 1.41% |
Goals-
Lose 30lbs fast or 10-12% body fat
After the weight is gone I plan on changing my goal to keeping my body fat down and gaining lean muscle. I want to be ripped by next summer.
Workout-
Morning – P90x program
Diet-
Very little sweets
No Ice Cream
No Soda
Supplements:
Whey Protein (Optimum Nutrition)
Ripped Power
Today’s report:
My friend Matt started working out with me today. It will be good because we are both trying to lose weight and get back into shape so hopefully we can push each other to the extreme. This morning we did the usual P90x Back and Chest workout. I didn’t feel well this morning. I felt very light headed and nauseated. I hope I can get a better workout in tomorrow morning. Overall I am getting stronger, but I am not where I want to be. I need to push myself a little harder.
